Australian Government Locator Service (AGLS) is an application of Dublin Core (DC) metadata set that has been designed as part of the E-Government strategy. AGLS is a set of 19 descriptive elements which Australian government agencies can use to improve the visibility and accessibility of their services and information over the Internet. AGLS has been endorsed by all Australian governments and was issued as Australian Standard AS 5044 by Standards Australia in December 2002.
